ABOUT THE PROVIDER

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

            Hello, my name is Kelly Lynch I am an Early Childhood Educator and Licensed Family Child Care Provider in Charlton, Massachusetts.  I am a proud mother of three very active boys and have over fifteen years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. It has been my dream to own and operate my own Family Child Care for as long as I can remember.

 

            My qualifications include receiving my Bachelor of Science in Education from Westfield State University in 2003. I also have a Diploma from North American Progressive Montessori Training program. My certifications from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care include: Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher and Director II qualified. I currently hold certification in CPR/First Aid & AED training. In High School while working with deaf children, I developed a passion for Sign Language and in 2012 I became a Certified Independent Instructor for Baby Signs. 

 Some of my passed employments were Director and Lead Preschool Teacher of a Montessori school for eight years, Assistant Director of a childcare center, Lead Teacher in an infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. Home visitor and monitor of Family Child Care Providers in the Southern Worcester County area and have also written State Subsidized Vouchers for parents in the program. I have worked for Early Head Start as a curriculum specialist developing curriculum for children 0-3 years of age.

 

As you can see I have a great passion and dedication for educating children from birth to school-aged. I strive to have open communication with parents and guardians of the children in my care. Your child’s health, safety, development and everyday life experiences are my main concerns. I provide a loving, caring home environment which includes curriculum that encourages growth and independence for your child to succeed in our every changing world.

 

My hobbies are coaching sports and attending my boys sporting events. I enjoy scrapbooking, creative crafting and relaxing on Sunday afternoons with my family.  I have a passion for helping others, including donating my time to charitable events with in my community.
